A brand is much more than just a logo and a tagline. Branding is the story behind your business and is an ongoing saga that consumers want to continue hearing more about. Your branding essentially creates a community, which can include your employees, customers, online communities, supporters, and more. People don't want to simply buy a product or service anymore but rather want to "buy in" to your brand and feel like a part of the group. Everything from your company's logo and website to its social media and emails is a part of its branding. All of these elements must work together to tell your company’s story and create a cohesive brand that consumers respond to.
